Bedford – Sue Ann (Goldsberry) Colburn, 75, passed away peacefully while she slept on July 2, 2025, in Bedford, Indiana.


She was born on May 19, 1950, in Bedford, Indiana, to Harvey George Goldsberry and Clara (Dillman) Goldsberry-Todd. A 1968 Heltonville High School graduate, she attended IUPUI-Methodist Hospital for Nursing. Sue married Benjamin Carr Colburn in 1971. Together they served in evangelistic work and ministry until retirement in 2017, holding revival and camp meetings across the Midwest and pastoring churches in Indiana and Kentucky. Sue enjoyed writing devotional for the Herald & Banner Press, and other publications. She was a gifted musician.


She is survived by her sons, Jason (Gina) and Joshua (Terri); seven grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jordan, Colton, Kailyn, Elenore (Nora), Eisley, and Gabriella; a brother, Samuel Goldsberry; a sister, Sandra Denniston (Leonard); many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Goldsberry and Clara Dillman; husband, Benjamin C.; son Benjamin E.; sister, Martha Gates.


Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, July 7th at Faith Mission Church, 1801 26th Street, Bedford, Indiana with Rev. Brian Line and Rev. R.B. Kuhn officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, July 6th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Monday all at the church.
