Bobby Wall Obituary

Bobby Alan Wall

September 8, 1988 – June 27, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Alan Wall, age 36, of Bedford, Indiana. Bobby departed this life on June 27, 2025, at Fairfax Beach after a peaceful evening of fishing—a passion he truly loved.

Born on September 8, 1988, in Nashville, Tennessee, Bobby was raised in Angier, North Carolina, and had lived in Bedford since 2021. On February 2, 2022, he married the love of his life, Suzanne Wall, in French Lick, Indiana. Their bond was filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams.

Bobby was a devoted father to Mckenzie Wall (13), Rylan Etoy Wall (6), Destinee Wright, and Jada Wright, and a proud grandfather to Malachi Wright (4). Family was everything to Bobby. He poured his heart into creating memories with his children and grandson—teaching them to fish, hunt, laugh, and enjoy life to the fullest. He especially loved fishing with his brother Delan Wall as a child and sharing morning conversations with his mother before work. Bobby was sentimental, outgoing, loving, and often sarcastic—his presence always lit up the room.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne, his children and grandson, his brothers Ricky Wall and Delan Wall, his loving parents Bobbie Jean Hubbard and Dale Hubbard, his father-in-law Eugene Mispagel (affectionately known as “Pops”), his grandparents Barbara McKenzie and Eddie "Bo" Haire, and his aunts Tammie McKenzie and Jessica McKenzie.

He was preceded in death by his biological father Rick Wall, his brother Timothy Hubbard, his grandfathers Bobby McKenzie, Pete Wall, and John “Poppa Johnny” Hubbard, his grandmothers Ruby Etoy Wall and Bonnie Haire, and his uncle Jason McKenzie.

Bobby was a soon-to-be foreman with the 301 Carpenters Union in Indianapolis, working for Strauser Construction. He was a passionate and hard-working craftsman who took great pride in his work and in providing for his family. Always eager to grow and learn, Bobby was admired by many in his field and formed close friendships with his coworkers.

Those who knew Bobby will forever remember his bright spirit, contagious smile, and piercing blue eyes. He had a heart bigger than life itself and never passed a stranger without offering help.

Bobby enjoyed watching Love Island, playing video games with his children and grandson, fossil hunting in the creeks of Bedford, and spending summer days with his family at Fairfax Beach. One of his proudest moments was winning a major fishing tournament at age 16—he was the youngest competitor, with the smallest boat, and still brought home the first-place catch. His fishing poles and bow and arrows were among his most treasured belongings.

A funeral service to celebrate Bobby’s life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford, Indiana.

Bobby leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and generosity. He touched countless lives and will forever be remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him.
