Oolitic – Tracy Silvers, 80, of Oolitic, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at his residence.

Born July 30, 1944, in Lawrence Co., he was the son of William and Polly (Lovell) Silvers. He married Hazel Reynolds and she survives. He was a bus driver for Greyhound Transportation.

Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Hazel Silvers, of Oolitic; a son, John Silvers and wife, Jill; a daughter, Michelle Lantz and husband, John; grandchildren, Madison Weldy and husband, Trevor, Bailey Silvers, Reid Silvers, Evan Todd and Ethan Todd and fiancé, Alyssa Dugger; a sister-in-law, Sandra Lovell. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Carl Silvers, Bobby Lovell, Jim Silvers, William Silvers, Desda Wray, Etta May, and Mildred Roberts; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 18th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Mike Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
