Bedford – John Dolph Becker, 76, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born September 16, 1948, in Bedford, he was the son of Dolph S. and Agnes Ida (Groset) Becker. He married Barbara Reynolds on September 19, 1969, and she survives. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University and was a Certified Public Accountant/Financial Controller for Thermo-Fisher Scientific. He was a past member of the Carmel Masonic Lodge #421 F & AM, the United Methodist Church and was an avid collector of clocks.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Becker, of Bedford; two daughters, Tiffany and Michelle Becker; a brother, Philip Becker and wife, Maria, of Columbus; two grandchildren, James and Lucas Reinhardt; four nephews, Edward Becker and wife, Vickie, Brian Becker, and wife, Oriane, David Becker and wife, Sarah, and Adam Becker; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 20th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
