I am SO very sorry to hear about Mrs. Coomer. I have been sick & hadnt heard till Mon. evening after the funeral. She was such a sweet spirit, so beautiful inside & out & was very pleasant. I am thrilled to know she & I shared a heart for Child Evangelism Fellowship!! CEF is such a mission field!! Though we have no doubt she is in the Presence of The Lord, my heart goes out to each of you. Sending great big hugs to Rita, my sister in Jesus. I love you much, & so my heart is singin our song: "Homesick." Which now means even more to you. Your Momma saw The Bright Light, & she is HOME!!! Soli Deo Gloria!!! Look for God's Rainbow in your tears, & let there be Sonshine in your soull!!! What a Godly mother you have been blessed with!! You will be with her again some sweet day. "Precious in the sight of The Lord is the death of His Saints!" Psalm 116:15

My prayers and love sent. I took care of Doris at the nursing home since the first day she got there. She told me she would be my grandma mlne were both gone . She will always have a special place love her. She will be greatly missed. She was one of a kind

I loved her. I had the pleasure of meeting her when I lived in Surprise, AZ. She was a sweet and caring special person and she blessed all that knew her. May she rest in peace in the presence of our Dear Lord.

Doris was a true woman of God and a very beautiful person. I could go to her anytime and she was always there to listen to me. As I was reading this obituary, it brought tears to my eyes. I was brought up from an infant with my parents Vernon and Reba Smalling and we spent many years with Ralph and Doris at Oolitic General Baptist Church. My parents and I would stay at their home many times. I will always cherish Doris and will miss seeing photos of her. I know she is in a much better place called Heaven with all the other Angels. Me. I love you Doris Coomer, please tell my parents so said hello and I truly miss them. Happy Mother’s Dsy in heaven. ❤️❤️
