Seymour – Jody Britton-Bowen, 50, of Seymour, passed away at 9:20 am on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at her residence.

Born July 25, 1974, in Marion, she was the daughter of Levi Britton and Dee Luttrell-Hughes. She was a mortgage broker with Unique Mortgage.

Survivors include two children, Brandy Bowen, of Florida and Quinton Trejo, of Indianapolis; a brother, Levi Britton, Jr.; a sister, Danielle Britton; brothers, Justin and Jacob Albertson; aunts, Charletta J. Luttrell and Shawn Miller; an uncle, Allen D. Albertson;; her step-mother, Janet Britton; Jody’s grandchildren, Amia Collins, Sofie Lessig, and Jagger Lessig; ; cousins, Racquel Luttrell-Hudson, Tonnetta Luttrell-Evans (son: Waylon J. Luttrell and daughter: Gracie Luttrell), Ellen Albertson, Melissa Bocquez and Michelle Jackson. She was preceded in death by a grandparents, Charles R. Luttrell, Dorthy Luttrell-Baughman and Nelly Mann.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 25th at Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Friday, at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
