Obituary of Michael Turpen

Michael D. Turpen, 69, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Majestic Care Bedford. Born June 15, 1955, he was the son of Roy Dale and Barbara Ann (Scott) Turpen. He married Brenda Kay Beavers in 1980, and she survives. Michael was a bus driver for Bloomington Transit. He loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed camping, gardening and photography. Survivors include his wife Brenda of Bedford; one daughter, Amy Hart of Bedford; one son, Ryan Michael Turpen of Key West, FL; three grandchildren, Ariel (Stephen) Easton, Aleta (Richard) Wyatt, Riley Garrett Turpen; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Deb (John) Whittier of MI. No services are scheduled.
