Bedford-Rita Mills Flynn, 69, of Bedford died on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at her residence.

Born November 12, 1955, in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Dewey and Ruth (Bagwell) Mills. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years in the Bedford community and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Bedford.

Survivors include two sons, Zach Flynn of New Braunfels, TX, and Seth Flynn and wife Corrie of Bedford; three grandchildren, Addilynn, Waylon, and Mattilyn Flynn; a brother, Sam Mills and wife Marie of Norman; nieces and nephews: Chad Mills of Bedford, Lori Cobb, Kelli Geier, and Kristi Horton. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bobby Mills and Dewey Mills, Jr., and a sister, Doris Evilyn Morrow.

Following Rita’s wishes cremation was chosen. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Day & Carter Mortuary.
