Linda Taylor Obituary

Williams – Linda K. Taylor, 72, of Williams, passed away at 10:10 am on Monday, March 3, 2025.


Born October 26, 1952, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Orville K. and Doris Jeanette (Stroud) Zumhingst. She was a compounding pharmacist for the Medicine Shoppe. She was an accomplished artist, painter and quilter. She was lead of the Bedford Art Association. A wonderful grandmother and mother who loved watching TV with the kids.


Survivors include two children, Megan Kern and Byron Goen, of Bedford, Matthew Lynch, of Williams; a grandson, Shane Kern, of Williams; two sisters, Geri A. Daugherty, of Avoca and Debra Zumhingst, of Bedford; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a great-grandson, Ryker Kern; two brothers, Jed Zumhingst and one in infancy.


Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 11th at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
