Greenwood – Nancy Jo Stroud, 87, of Greenwood, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at her residence.

Born March 25, 1937, in Mitchell, IN, she was the daughter of Henry Kimble and Marie (Snow) Hughes. She married Russell V. Stroud, of Shoals on April 23, 1955. She retired from AUL Insurance and was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael L. Stroud (Belinda), of Trafalgar and Russell W. Stroud (Jacki), of Bargersville; eight grandchildren, Kevin Hayes, Kimberly Hall, Jessica Twaddle, Heather Sgro, Russell Stroud, Steven Stroud, Christina Lawless, and Kirsten Stroud; sixteen great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell V. Stroud; her parents, a daughter, Cathy Hayes; a daughter, Vicky Terhune; a sister, Betty Powell; a great-granddaughter, Cassandra Bannister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 10th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
