Bedford – Ada Jane Hoesman, 90, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Stonebridge Health Campus.


Born May 22, 1934, in Greene Co., she was the daughter of Howard and Lavedah (Rollins) Lewis. She married Wendell Blevins and he preceded her in death. She retired from Cummins Engine in 1988 and was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W.


Survivors include a daughter, Jane Ozbun (Larry); a son, Tim Blevins (Lucy); four grandchildren, Justin Ozbun, Ryan Ozbun, Mandy Pinnick and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three sisters, Mary McAfee, Rose Oswald, and Wilma Beesom.


Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 20th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 pm on Thursday at Fayetteville Community Cemetery in Fayetteville with Rick Grant officiating.
