Please accept my deep and sincere condolences on Amber's passing. She was a joy to care for over the years and to watch her family grow in a home filled with love. I have always been proud of her for furthering her education, entering a Nursing career and progressing to provide care at the NP level. She was a caring person and Nursing was an excellent fit for her. This is such a loss to her family and the community.

My condolences to the family. I worked with her a few years at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. I was a newbie at the hospital and she was kind and helpful. She was also kind, caring to her patients. We would talk about ours kids and nursing to help the time pass on night shifts.

Donna and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My first visit with Amber was at the VA at Crane. On my first formal office visit at the VA in Bloomington, I meet Amber as she was assigned to my case. When she asked where I lived, I said "Oolitic" - she gave me a funny look and said - "me too!" Her next question was - where in Oolitic? I gave her my address, she said "Hey, I grew up across the street and mom and dad live there!" Our eyes locked - both of us laughed when we realized we knew each other. I will miss her. She was dedicated to helping others and a pleasure to know.

Of course being older than me I don't have a bunch of memories I can pin point with amber except family reunions, but the one thing I will always remember about amber is her laugh. I feel like her laugh could be picked out from everyone else's in a loud room, she was so full of life and happiness and she will be so missed. Love you guys.

I took Amber a gift at the hospital when I visited her. She opened it. It was a pair of soft pajamas. She was so cute. She put them up to her face and said they are so soft. Than asked did you get a matching pair, so we can wear them at our next sleepover? She kept feelings the pajamas most of our visit. I’m sorry that we are not going to have our sleep over now. But when we meet up again I want her to have that sleep over with me. I will always love you the more Amber. Until we met again. Debbie

I remember walking in to Eugene and Donna's apartment with a little Carrie and a little Brandon and the one in the bassinet was Amber! I looked down to see her and as Donna unswaddles her I see one of the most beautiful babies I had ever seen! I never let her forget how stunning she is! One day she said Julie, your always saying that and I don't see it" I responded with"open your eyes woman!"
