Heltonville – Michael James Meadows, 63, of Heltonville, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Mike was a class of 1979 graduate who loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and wife of 45 years. Mike was formerly an employee of I.U. Bloomington and loved classic cars, hunting, mushroom hunting, landscaping, and all things outdoors. He spent some of his time in the last month learning more about his family genealogy.

Surviving family members include his wife, Cathy (Reynolds) Meadows; a daughter, Stacy (Jerry Bagshaw) Meadows; a son, Chris Meadows; a brother, Jerry (Kristen Hawkins) Meadows, all of Heltonville; grandchildren, Nicholas Meadows and Aslynn and Jaiden Bagshaw also of Heltonville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry C. and Margaret Louise (Fleetwood) Meadows along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 30th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Bartlettsville Christian Cemetery.
