Etta R. Hall Obituary

Bedford- Etta R. Hall, 87, of Bedford, passed away at 11:50 am on January 5, 2025 at Stonebridge Health Campus.


Born May 16, 1937 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Onis and Lelah L. (White) Gore. Etta was a retired machine operator at PTG in Mitchell. She attended the Masonic Temple and was of the Baptist faith.


Survivors include sons, Jim Hicks, of Bedford, Doug Hall (Tammi), of Bedford, Scott Hall (Maxine), of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, Jessica Lybrook, Erica Hall, Macy Hicks, Tyson Hall, and Daisy Hicks, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, companion Bob Hicks, three brothers; Charlie, Banty, and Gene Gore


Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery in Silverville. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to the time of service Thursday. Family and friends may express their condolences at www.daycarter.com.
