George Patton Obituary

Springville – George Patton, 80, of Springville, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Paoli Health & Living Center in Paoli.


Born April 8, 1944, in Avoca, he was the son of Enoch O. and Gertie (New) Patton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War and had worked for CAAA, Crane. He was a loving and wonderful, caring man who will be missed.


Survivors include his companion, Dianne Moore, of Bedford; he was Papaw to Caitlin and Cassie Moore; a brother, Keith Patton; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Mildred Stalker, Don Patton, Sammy Patton, Virginia Owen, Kenny Patton, Clifford Patton, James Patton, Linda Patton, and Ronnie Patton.


Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, September 27th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Nathaniel Kelly officiating. Military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
