Bedford - Barbara Ellen Hudson, 87, of Bedford, passed away at 6:35 am on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Westview Manor.

Born April 6, 1935, she was the daughter of Elbert Fleetwood and Mildred (Hubbard) Weddle. She married Robert F. Hudson on July 5, 1956, and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2003. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include five sons, Robert F. Hudson, Jr., Timothy Alan Hudson, Mark Douglas Hudson, John David Hudson and Steven Paul Hudson; a daughter, Jennifer Kay McGill; thirteen grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 16th at Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville with Chris Perry officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
