Bedford – Sharon Rose Davis, 71, of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Born May 25, 1950, in East Oolitic, she was the daughter of Merle and Zora (Gentry) Davis. She was a certified nursing assistant. She was a lifetime member of the Bedford Boat & Sportsman’s Club and the women’s auxiliary.

Survivors include four daughters, Victoria Perkins and husband, Wes, of Bedford, Meghan Freet and husband, Troy, of Illinois, Teresa Schmidt and husband, Frank, of Scottsburg, and Tammy Richey, of Scottsburg; eight grandchildren, Jackson, Cameron, Conner, Jasmyn, Maleah, Kaitlyn, Jessica, and Adam; several great grandchildren; siblings, Merle Davis and wife, Patty, Norma Ritchison, Patty Walls and husband, Richard, and Rick Davis and wife, Brenda; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Frank Duncan.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, April 26th at Breckenridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
