East Oolitic Arleen Kaye Thompson, 61, of East Oolitic, IN, died at 9:45 am on Monday, January 24, 2005 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center.


Born March 10, 1943 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of William and Moneva (Hillenburg) Davis. She retired from NSWC CRANE after twenty-eight years and was a member of the East Oolitic Community Church.


Survivors include one daughter, Regina Kaye Pierce and her friend, Shelley Roberts of East Oolitic; one son, Roger Dean Pierce, Jr. and his wife, Kim of East Oolitic; two sisters, Janet Glasgow of Springville and Joyce Collins and her husband, Dean of Bedford; five brothers, William Davis, Jr. and his wife, Nancy and Claude Davis and his wife, Debbie all of Bedford, Dennis Davis and his wife, Arlene and Philip Davis all of East Oolitic and Robert Davis of the Shawswick community; one step-daughter, Gerri Lynn Thompson of Washington; two step-sons, Chris and Jeff Thompson of Washington; nine grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one step-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one step-son, Roger Dean Keller. Funeral Information


Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 27th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Millard Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Breckenridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 26th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
