Owensburg - Kerry Alan George, 67, went home to be reunited with his Lord on January 26, 2018, after a long battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Kerry was known for his love of family and his dedication to God and his church.
Kerry was born to Robert Dean and Marilyn Jeanette (Armstrong) George on September 9, 1950 and was raised in Owensburg, IN. Kerry was blessed with a loving family. He married the love of his life, Coleen Boler, on December 2, 1973. Together they created a happy home in which they raised three children whom made him so very proud. He also enjoyed being a “Papaw” to his grandchildren and loved watching them at their school performances and cheering them on during their sporting adventures.
In his free time, Kerry enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. He never sat idle and was always helping other people.
Kerry is dearly missed by his loved ones. They take comfort in knowing that he is in Heaven and that his body has been restored.
