Obituary of Mary L. Bruner-Brown

Williams – Mary L. Bruner-Brown, 78, of Williams, died at 9:15 am on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at her residence.

Born December 2, 1939, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Ira Stuart and Mable Ann (Sexton) Capshew. She married Gerald Ray Bruner and later married John Brown and he preceded her in death. She was a Senior Records Clerk at Indiana University in the Independent Studies Department, and a member of the Williams Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Bruner, of Williams and David Bruner and wife, Janette, of Bloomington; grandchildren, Samantha McFarland, David McFarland, Jr. and Kayla Bruner; great grandchildren, Shelby McFarland and Maddison McFarland; her twin sister, Martha Price. She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Justin Kirby; two brothers, William and James Stuart.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 16^th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Perry East officiating. Cremation will follow.
