Obituary of Boyce E. Turner

Heltonville – Boyce E. Turner, 81, of Heltonville, died at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at his residence. Born January 18, 1935, in Bedford, he was the son of Ralph and Nellie (Eads) Turner. He married Virginia Ehrlich on September 14, 1973 and she survives. He was a retired professional woodworker and he and Virginia were owners of Turner Dolls. Survivors include his wife, Virginia, of Heltonville; three daughters, Julie Brogden and husband, Andrew, of Carmel, Susan Lowder and husband, Rick, of Zionsville, Teri Doran, of North Vernon; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Judy Turner Bussmann, of Heltonville. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. A committal service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 30th at the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday, November 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
