Obituary of Clara Annetta Woodward

Bedford – Clara Annetta “Net” Woodward, 96, of Bedford, died at 9:45 am on Friday, April 8, 2016 at her residence. Born July 11, 1919 in the home she had lived in all her life. She was the daughter of James A. and Lou Etta (Taylor) Whitted. She was a member of the Leatherwood Christian Church and a past member of the Leatherwood Ludeans. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra L. “Sandy” Hunter of Bedford and one grandson, Evan J. Hunter of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. “Bob” Woodward; one sister, Mary Alice (Whitted) Snyder and one brother, Harry Whitted. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, April 12th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Sherman Thomas officiating.
