Obituary of Stephen L. Fish

Ft. Wayne – Stephen L. Fish, 70, of Ft. Wayne, formerly of Bedford, passed away from complications due to multiple Myeloma Cancer at 9:57 pm on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Towne House Retirement Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. Born October 12, 1944 in Bedford, he was the son of Wayne and Annie (Wray) Fish. He married Patty Senger on June 25, 1965 and she survives. He retired as a fire fighter for the City of Bedford in January 1988. He was a part owner of Four Seasons Sports for five years and drove a school bus for special needs students for seven years. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and a past board member for the Thornton Memorial Boys Club. Survivors include his wife, Patty, of Ft. Wayne; a son, Jim Fish and wife, Natalie, of Ft. Wayne; three grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; two brothers, Jim Fish and wife, Lana, of Bloomington and Tom Fish of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Kevin Fish. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, October 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Father Rick Eldred officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 8th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
