Obituary of Virginia Ruth Fultz

BedfordVirginia Ruth Fultz, 83, of 500-2 Green Tree Drive died at 10:40 P.M. Friday, September 19th at Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born on July 1, 1920 in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Oran E. Root and Jewell (Foster) Root. She was the former secretary and bookkeeper of Fultz Auto (NAPA) of Bedford. She was a member of White River Baptist Church, Elks Auxiliary and a life member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She married Ralph R. Fultz on July 9, 1938 and he died on June 15, 2002. Surviving is one daughter: Mrs. Kathleen (Kathy) Davis and her husband, Bob of Bedford; two sons: Scott Fultz and his wife, Barbara of Bedford and Steve Fultz of Bedford; four grandchildren: Noelle Jean and her husband, Ross of Bedford, Janelle Deckard and her husband, Carey of Bedford, Staci Thacker and her husband, Kent of Noblesville and Michael Davis and his wife, Kathy of Bloomington; five great grandchildren: Dairen Jean, Dominick Jean, Madelyn Deckard, Meredith Deckard and Sarah Thacker; one sister: Mrs. Suella Stevens and her husband, Paul of Bedford. She was preceded in death by: one sister: Irene and one brother: Wilbur (Bill) Root. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 23rd in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. James Root officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinhook Cemetery. Pall bearers will be: Scott Osborne, Kenny Deckard, Jack Skeen, Carey Decakrd, Ross Jean, Michael Davis. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Monday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
